Located on the Union Pacific Railroad and along the I-90 corridor, the first stage processing plant would crush 100,000 bushels of soybeans daily, producing approximately 770,000 tons of soybean meal annually, with one third of the meal projected for local markets and the balance going to western markets. This project will annually produce around 200,000 tons of crude soybean oil for further processing. The plant will be designed with the extra capability to segregate soybeans for identity preservation, and be designed for expansion into oil refining.
